Valerie De Anda, together with Gerhard Herndl, Valentin Göldner, and Marc Brooks, has received seed funding from the University of Vienna's Environment and Climate Research Hub (ECH) for the interdisciplinary project Decoding the Deep-sea Archive.
Led by Valerie, the project will investigate the metabolic fingerprints of deep-sea sediments by integrating microbial ecology and environmental chemistry, while also developing a public outreach component in collaboration with Haus des Meeres.
